GVG Design Construct Pty Ltd was established in 1997. The founding directors, Guy Gardner and Darryl Vaughan, combined their knowledge and experience as consulting structural/civil engineers and project managers to create a "full service" design and construct business. GVG Design construct was further strengthened in 2012 when Simon Betteridge and Geoff Price progressed from long term Senior Managers to become Directors. Simon and Geoff have extensive experience in the construction industry and now control the day to day running of the construction business and are now the sole directors as Guy and Darryl have focused on expanding their development and sales interests.
Through our background in design, engineering, construction and development, we have developed a design and construct company that is flexible and adaptable to deliver a wide range of projects. The two directors of the company have almost 60 years of combined experience and work very closely with the Project and Site Staff.
We value our relationship with our clients and other stakeholders and our culture is built around our understanding of their needs and directs our approach in every aspect of our business and our client’s expectations are met as a result.
We have a strong and loyal network of clients, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants in addition to our staff, who we have maintained and grown together through running our company with integrity and honesty, this enables us to achieve better results than our industry peers with much greater resources.
Our ISO 9001(2015) quality management system and our WPHS management system have been developed to provide consistency of our delivery and coupled with the experience and understanding of building codes standards and methodology allow us to deliver projects on time, safely, while meeting and exceeding the requirements of our clients and end users. This system also provides procedures to achieve performance in cost control and management .
We are continually auditing, updating and training the implementation of our quality and safety management systems to address the many project risks that present themselves through the construction process. This allows our clients to have peace of mind to know that GVG Design Construct are in full control
Our Managing Director and Construction Manager work very closely on each project and are well supported by the Project and Site Staff. Our Project Managers are the key contact with our Partners and are responsible for project performance, time, quality and budget targets. They are assisted by our Site Managers who are in charge of all site activity. Based on site, they oversee each stage of the building works ensuring compliance with documentation and quality standards and that all safety, quality and environmental targets are achieved. Our Foremen are ‘hands on’ builders, coordinating the Subcontractors each day on site and ensuring that the site runs smoothly and safely.
Geoff Price (MANAGING DIRECTOR)

In his role as Managing Director, Geoff draws on his extensive experience in Construction and Project Management to provide exceptional delivery of a wide variety of projects.
Geoff also undertakes the role of Quality Manager, overseeing the ongoing training, review, auditing and updating of GVG's procedures and policies.

As Construction Manager, Simon uses his broad construction knowledge and skills to take responsibility for all of GVG's construction services. Geoff works closely alongside the site staff and clients in a troubleshooting and programming role drawing on his extensive construction background and programming experience to ensure the best construction methodologies are being employed.
Simon also administers GVG’s Information Technology systems.
